In the midst of trials and despair

These words HE promised us.

HE was there in the midst 

Of black smoke and death.

It was HE who held the Nation 

In the Palm of one of HIS hands

While in the other HE carried the souls

Of the newest Angels in Heaven, Home

To be with HIM forever. 

To HIM be the Power and Glory 

And Praise forever and ever.
